Sal LaFonte Memorial Fund

Maria A. Grasso, United Way of Long Island Executive Board Member, has established a memorial fund in honor of her father, Sal LaFonte. Mr. LaFonte was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1965. The end of April will mark 10 years since his passing, and there is no better way to honor his memory and service than by supporting veterans.

The Sal LaFonte Memorial Fund provides financial assistance to veterans who wish to participate in a vocational training program.
