Youthbuild Case Manager/Social Worker
The Case Manager/Social Worker is responsible for providing ongoing counseling support, case management services, advocacy and guidance to program participants in their personal, legal and social service needs, especially those that interfere with their ability to meet the program requirements and their personal goals; and to work closely with the entire staff to build the youths’ leadership skills. Counseling and case management is designed to help participants address barriers and challenges that interfere with fulfillment of their potential and successful life outcomes.

 

YouthBuild Construction Trainer
The Construction Trainer of YouthBuild Long Island is responsible for teaching and training cutting-edge construction practices to opportunity youth ages 18-24 related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and recycled materials. Also, responsible for maintaining safe worksite practices, providing direct instruction and work-based learning supervision, maintaining cohesive program implementation, and providing training and leadership development opportunities.

 

YouthBuild Transportation Coordinator
The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for transporting YouthBuild participants to and from job training sites, GED education and program location. Tasks include but are not limited to coordinating transportation schedule and overseeing vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.

 

Housing Specialist
Provide program coordination and administration of all related documentation, database management and client interfacing for the Housing Department’s Programs and other related projects and housing initiatives.
