United Way of Long Island recently elected Howard M. Dickstein to its Board of Directors. Dickstein currently serves as assistant vice president at GEICO in Woodbury, responsible for the region’s auto damage and personal injury protection claims operations.
“GEICO has a strong relationship with United Way of Long Island, supporting numerous initiatives through our workplace giving campaign for a number of years. I’m proud to represent GEICO on United Way’s Board of Directors, expanding my role in helping to better the lives of Long Islanders,” said Dickstein.
“Howard will be a valuable addition to our Board of Directors. He will join a group of 45 members who are all uniquely positioned to expand our reach to transform people’s lives,” said Theresa A. Regnante, President and CEO of United Way of Long Island.
Dickstein earned a bachelor’s degree in business, management and finance from the City University of New York (Brooklyn College) and his Certificate in General Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America. He lives in Merrick with his wife, Gayle.
