United Way of Long Island recently elected John Guadagno to its Board of Directors. Guadagno is the President of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 25. With 36 years of experience in the electrical construction field, John has devoted more than a decade to Business Administration and Development.
“Being welcomed to the Board of Directors at United Way of Long Island is a major achievement. I take great pride having the opportunity to use my experience and skills for the betterment of their mission,” explained Guadagno.
“We are grateful to welcome John as our newest board member. United Way has a long-standing relationship with IBEW Local 25; we look forward to continuing to find new ways to partner to help Long Island residents,” explained Theresa A. Regnante, President and CEO of United Way of Long Island.
Guadagno attended Suffolk Community College for Electrical/Electronic Drafting and Electrical/Electronic CAD/CADD. He has been active in his community as an Assistance Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America Troop 7 in St. James. He is also a member of The Crime Victims Center, dba Parents for Megan's Law Board of Directors.
John Guadagno and his wife, Anne, live in St. James and have four children: Lisa, married to Scott; Adam, married to Kristin; Kimberly and Michael. They also have two grandchildren, Abigail and Dylan.
