United Way of Long Island's VetsBuild Program provides training to our local heroes, at no cost, for green collar employment opportunities in energy efficiency, renewables, weatherization, Energy-Star construction, home performance, HVAC and home restoration. As part of their training, VetsBuild Students learn how to preform Home Energy Audits which could help home-owners save thousands of dollars.
