Hartford Funding's Team Franzese Contributes $5,000 to Benefit United Way of Long Island as a Result of Cars & Coffee Networking Event

Ucnited Way of Long Island focuses on helping our local community to ensure they receive the attention and care they deserve. With that in mind, United Way partnered with Hartford Funding’s Team Franzese, launching the first annual Cars & Coffee Networking Event.

DAVID LYONS, INTERIM PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, JOINS UNITED WAY OF LONG ISLAND’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

BOD DavidUnited Way of Long Island recently elected David Lyons, Interim President and Chief Operating Officer of PSEG Long Island, to its Board of Directors. 

David also serves as Executive Director of Special Projects for PSEG Long Island. In this role, he focuses on system improvements following Tropical Storm Isaias.  

UNITED WAY RAISES $600,000 AT ANNUAL UNITED TOGETHER CELEBRATION SPONSORED BY BETHPAGE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

United Way of Long Island celebrated the dedication and support of individuals, organizations, corporations and labor unions at its annual UNITED TOGETHER Celebration Luncheon at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on June 16.  

Supported by longtime Title Sponsor Bethpage Federal Credit Union, the fundraising event raised $600,000 for United Way and its community impact partners.  More than 400 guests enjoyed the mission-focused event with fellow Long Islanders who share United Way’s vision of neighbors helping neighbors.

THE BOUNTIFUL COMPANY AWARDS $30,000 GRANT IN SUPPORT OF UNITED WAY OF LONG ISLAND’S NUTRITION EDUCATION INITIATIVES

Check picThe Bountiful Company, a Nestlé Health Science Company, has awarded a $30,000 grant to United Way of Long Island to support the nutritional health and wellness of families on Long Island. The grant will be used to provide nutrition education to families with school-age and pre-school children, offering educational tools and services for over 100 children.
