United Way of Long Island Launches Born United: A Community Baby Shower to Support Families with Infants and Young Children
May 26, 2020 (Deer Park) – Parenthood can be overwhelming for anyone, especially during the time of COVID-19. With unemployment at an all-time high and the crisis at its peak, United Way of Long Island is responding by helping families with infants and young children.
March 5, 2020 (Deer Park) - United Way of Long Island recently received the BASF Construction North America 2019 HP+ Builder of the Year award for Innovation and Leadership in Residential Construction. The organization was acknowledged during the 2020 International Builders’ Show, in recognition of its leadership and dedication to utilizing innovative building science practices. 
February 11, 2020 (Central Islip, NY) – February 11, 2020 marks the 10 year anniversary of 211 Long Island. To celebrate this milestone occasion, United Way of Long Island joined a nationwide effort in recognition of 211 Day, held on February 11th.
