February 14, 2022 (Deer Park, NY) – United Way of Long Island was awarded a $25,000 grant from Esquire Bank, based in Jericho, NY. This generous contribution will support Long Island families with fuel neutral heating assistance through Project Warmth. Funds will also support the Stuff-A-Bus program, ensuring equity and building confidence in students through its school supplies initiative.

A signature program at United Way, YouthBuild primarily serves young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who lack a high school diploma and financial resources.

February 11, 2020 (Central Islip, NY) – February 11, 2020 marks the 10 year anniversary of 211 Long Island. To celebrate this milestone occasion, United Way of Long Island joined a nationwide effort in recognition of 211 Day, held on February 11th.
