UNITED WAY OF LONG ISLAND’S PROVIDES FREE TRANSPORTATION THROUGH ‘RIDE UNITED’ TO AND FROM COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS

July 8, 2021 (Deer Park, NY) – United Way of Long Island recently launched ‘Ride United’ to help local residents access transportation to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through the rideshare service Lyft. The program is part of United Way Worldwide’s Ride United Vaccine Access Campaign, which addresses unmet transportation needs for individuals and families.

A recent grant from Capital One will help ensure that United Way of Long Island can respond to the urgent health needs of these neighbors.
